How to add and manage widgets

Widgets

In ProofHub, you have the flexibility to customize your “Me view” to display the information most relevant to you. This is achieved through widgets, which allow you to control and organize the content you want to see at a glance.

Add widget

  1. Open widget options:
    • Click on the widget icon located right next to the “Jump to” option.
  2. Drag and drop widgets:
    • In the “Customize widgets” window that appears, you’ll find a list of available widgets.
    • To add a widget, simply drag it from the list.

Resizing widget

  1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the widget you want to resize.
  2. Select size option: From the menu that appears, choose either “1x” or “2x” to adjust the size of the widget.
    • 1x: This option represents the default size of the widget.
    • 2x: Selecting this option will increase the width and height of the widget, allowing for a larger display of information.

Remove widget

Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the widget you want to remove and select “Remove widget“.

Create announcements and subscribe people to them to share information that isn’t project-specific. Recognize a job well done, celebrate achievements, or send birthday greetings all in one place. Click here for more information.


My projects widget

The “My projects” widget in ProofHub provides a quick overview of your assigned projects, displaying essential details such as the last update, start date, and end date. This guide will help you navigate and utilize the “My projects” widget effectively.

  1. Tabs
    • Recent:
      • Displays your most recently accessed projects, making it easy to quickly find and continue your work on current tasks.
    • Starred:
      • Allows you to mark important projects as “Starred” for easy access.
      • To star a project, click on the star icon next to the project name. Starred projects will then appear under the “Starred” tab for quick reference.
  2. Filter options: You can filter your projects directly from the widget to find specific projects more easily. Click on the filter icon within the widget to open the filter options.
    • Status: Filter projects by their status (e.g., Active, Completed).
    • Category: Filter projects by category to narrow down to specific types of projects.
    • Color: Filter projects by color coding, which is useful if you use color codes to differentiate project types or priorities.

My shortcuts widget

Allows you to access shortcut items, such as my tasks, my logged time, my activities, my events & milestones, etc.


My tasks widget

Lists all tasks assigned to you, enabling efficient task management.

  1. Filter options: You can filter your tasks directly from the widget more easily. Click on the filter icon within the widget to open the filter options.
  2. Tasks columns: You can show and hide columns. Click on the “+” icon to get the list of columns.

Agenda widget

Displays your agenda items and upcoming events, helping you stay organized and on top of your schedule. Receive an email with your daily agenda every morning at 7:00 AM which you can enable from Email preferences.

  • Note:
    • Overdue items will be displayed for the past seven days.
    • Upcoming items will be displayed for the next seven days.

My logged time widget

This shows the time you’ve logged for various tasks and projects, helping you track productivity and billable hours.

  1. Filter options: You can filter your tasks directly from the widget more easily. Click on the filter icon within the widget to open the filter options.
  2. Columns: You can show and hide columns. Click on the “+” icon to get the list of columns.

Note widget

Provides easy access to your personal notes, allowing you to jot down ideas, reminders, and important information.

  1. Select notes to the widget:
    • In the widget, select the project, select the notebook, and the note.
  2. Select multiple notes:
    • You can select multiple notes to the widget by repeating the process of selecting the project, notebook, and note. This allows you to keep all relevant information easily accessible within the widget.
