<\/span>Folder hierarchy<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In ProofHub, you have the ability to organize your uploaded files into a hierarchy of folders.

\"Folder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Project files<\/span>:<\/strong> By default, the “Project files”<\/strong> folder is displayed, and any additional folders you create are nested within this main folder. You have the flexibility to create folders within folders to any desired depth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tree-like structure<\/span>:<\/strong> The folder arrangement follows a tree structure, with the “Project files”<\/strong> folder serving as the base or root. To access files within a specific folder, simply click on the folder name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. All files<\/span>:<\/strong> If you wish to view all files irrespective of the folder they have been added into, you can do so using the \u201cAll files\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Search and add folders:<\/span><\/strong> You can use the magnifying glass icon to search for folders and subfolders. Clicking on the “+”<\/strong> icon allows you to add folders and subfolders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    <\/span>Add a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Navigate to the files section<\/span>:<\/strong> Click on the\u00a0“Add”<\/strong>\u00a0button and select\u00a0“Folder”<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop-down.

    2. Enter the folder details<\/span>: <\/strong>Enter the title and click “Add”<\/strong>.

      <\/span>Add a sub-folder <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name where you intend to add the subfolder and select the\u00a0“Add sub folder”<\/strong>\u00a0option.

      <\/span>Download a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name and select the\u00a0“Download”<\/strong>\u00a0option.

      Note:<\/span><\/strong> All the files present in that folder will be downloaded in a zip folder.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      <\/span>Move a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name and select the\u00a0“Move”\u00a0<\/strong>option.

      2. Select the folder where you want to move the files and click on “Update”<\/strong>.

        <\/span>Rename a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        1. Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name and select the\u00a0“Rename”<\/strong>\u00a0option.

        2. Enter the new name and click on “Update”<\/strong>.

          <\/span>Delete a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          1. Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name and select the\u00a0“Delete”\u00a0<\/strong>option.

          2. When deleting a folder, all of its subfolders will be removed, but the files remain accessible in “All files”.<\/strong> If you want to completely remove the files, ensure to select the “Remove files from ‘All files’ too”<\/strong> option and confirm by clicking “Yes”<\/strong>.

            Note:<\/span> <\/strong>ProofHub keeps items in the \u201cTrash\u201d for 15 days. Restore them easily by going to Trash. For detailed instructions on restoring deleted items from the trash, please refer to Trash<\/a>.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            <\/span>Bookmark a folder<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            1. Right-click or click on the three dots in front of the folder name and select the\u00a0“Bookmark”\u00a0<\/strong>option.
