Categories can be used to group multiple projects under one heading. This makes it easy for users to search for projects and generate multiple reports by filtering projects on the basis of their category.<\/p>\n

Add categories<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Go to\u00a0Manage<\/strong> on the top-right of the page.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Project categories<\/strong> from the drop-down list.

  3. In the next window,\n
      \n
    • Click on the\u00a0Add<\/strong> button.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    • Provide a Title<\/strong> for the category in the add category window.
      \n\"\"<\/li>\n
    • Click Add.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Edit categories<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. Click Manage<\/strong> on the top right of the page.<\/li>\n
      2. Select Project categories<\/strong> from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
      3. In the next window,\n
          \n
        • Right-click on the category.<\/li>\n
        • Select Edit<\/strong> from the context menu.

        • Edit the Title<\/strong> of the category.<\/li>\n
        • Click Update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Delete categories<\/strong><\/p>\n

          1. Click Manage<\/strong> on the top right of the page.<\/li>\n
          2. Select Project categories<\/strong> from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
          3. In the next window,\n

            • Right-click on the category.<\/li>\n
            • Select Delete<\/strong> from the context menu.

            • A confirmation pop-up will appear on the screen. Click\u00a0Yes<\/strong>\u00a0and the category will be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Assign categories to projects<\/strong><\/p>\n

              1. You can simply assign categories or create new categories while adding projects.
