You don’t have to create a project from scratch each time. For projects having a similar structure, consider using templates. Just make a template live or use it while creating a project to save some time.<\/p>\n

Add a template<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Select\u00a0Projects<\/strong>\u00a0from the navigation bar.
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the\u00a0Add\u00a0<\/strong>button at the top-left of the page.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select\u00a0Template\u00a0<\/strong>from the\u00a0drop-down list.

  4. Add the following details in the new window:\n
      \n
    • Add the Title<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> of the template.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Set a Color<\/strong> code.<\/li>\n
    • Add Assignees<\/strong> to the template.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Specify the Start date<\/strong> and End date<\/strong> of the template.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Select a Project manager<\/strong>.<\/span>\"add<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Using templates<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Select a\u00a0template while adding the project<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Click\u00a0on the Quick add<\/strong> icon on the navigation bar or click on Add<\/strong> option from the project section.<\/li>\n
      2. Select Project <\/strong>from the drop-down list.\"\"<\/li>\n
      3. Check off the Use template<\/strong> option to select a template.\"\"<\/li>\n
      4. Add the following details in the new window:\n
          \n
        • Select a Template <\/strong>from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
        • Add the Title<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> of the project.<\/li>\n
        • Select a Start date<\/strong> and End date<\/strong> or choose a parameter to adjust dates.<\/li>\n
        • Add Assignees<\/strong> to the project.<\/li>\n
        • Select a Project manager<\/strong> from the list of people assigned to the project.<\/li>\n
        • Select a Category<\/strong> for the project.<\/li>\n
        • Define a\u00a0P<\/strong>roject status<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Set a Color<\/strong> code.<\/li>\n
        • Select the items you want to copy from the template to the project.\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • \u00a0Click\u00a0Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Note:<\/strong>\u00a0While creating a project from the template, dates can be adjusted as per the following parameters:<\/p>\n

            \n
          • Earliest date in the project\/template<\/li>\n
          • Keep the date as it is<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            For example:<\/strong> Select Earliest date in the project\/template<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop-down list and set the due date as per your need. Now, if the current earliest due date is December 1 and you move it to a new date, let’s say, December 3, 2 days will be added to all the dates.<\/p>\n

            Convert an existing template to a project<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Select\u00a0Projects\u00a0<\/strong>from the navigation bar.\"\"<\/li>\n
            2. \u00a0Go to\u00a0Templates <\/strong>where you will be able to view all the templates that you have created in your account.\"\"<\/li>\n
            3. Right-click on the desired template and select Edit<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>\n
            4. Uncheck the option Is template<\/strong> in the next window\u00a0to change the template into a live project.\"\"<\/li>\n
