The password strength policy helps you set a strong password for your ProofHub account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Password<\/p>\n

By default, users can set their passwords irrespective of whether they are using a strong password or not. However, if required, it can be made mandatory for users to be allowed to set up strong passwords.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Enable password strength policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Click on the manage<\/strong> option from the top right corner of the screen.<\/li>\n
  2. Select preferences<\/strong> from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n
  3. Check the option ‘Allow users to only set strong passwords for their accounts’.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Click on Update<\/strong>\u00a0to save the change.\"Enable<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How it works<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Once the option is enabled, any password set needs to have the password strength as either good or strong.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Passwords are considered strong if they have uncommon words, a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Enter a new password to check if it is a fair, good, strong, or weak password.<\/strong> If the password is weak, it will not allow you to change the Password.<\/li>\n
    4. The validation will show up every time a user updates their password or even tries to set a new password first time<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t

      Any user with access to 'Manage company, custom domain & preferences'<\/strong> can enable or disable the password strength policy from the Preferences tab under the manage section.
