Make announcements to convey information that may not be project-specific and subscribe people to them. Appreciate a job well done, celebrate achievements, or even give birthday greetings in one place. Announcements can prove to be an effective way to motivate teams.

Add announcement<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Click on the<\/span> +Add<\/strong> button to add a new Announcement or you can add an announcement from the quick add menu.<\/span>
    \n\"Add<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Add the following details in the add announcement window.\n
      \n
    • Add announcement title and Description<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Select subscribers.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Check the keep subscribers hidden <\/strong>option to hide the people subscribed to an announcement.<\/li>\n
    • Select the time for which it will last on the announcement board<\/strong>: 24hrs, 48hrs, a week, or forever.<\/li>\n
    • Schedule for future<\/strong>: to schedule an announcement for the future, simply check the option Schedule for future <\/strong>and select a date and time<\/strong> when the announcement will become visible to all the subscribed users. you can also edit the scheduled date and time at any time before the announcement is posted.<\/li>\n
    • Allow or disable comments by checking the allow comments<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
    • Use the Pin to top<\/strong> option to pin an announcement to the top of the list.<\/li>\n
    • Attach a file<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Click on <\/span>Add<\/strong>.<\/span>\"Add<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      NOTE<\/b>: <\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Once an announcement is added a notification will be sent to everyone subscribed to it.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • All announcements are set to 24 hours by default. The announcement will automatically expire after the set duration is over. You can change the duration according to the need. <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Only subscribed users can view the announcement.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Once the announcement is viewed by a subscriber, a right tick will appear above their name.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        View <\/strong>announcements <\/strong>and add comments<\/strong>
        \n<\/span><\/h3>\n
          \n
        1. Click on an <\/span>announcement<\/b> to open it.<\/span>\"View<\/li>\n
        2. A comment section is available on the right side. Add comments, mention users and attach files here.

          Edit announcement<\/strong><\/h3>\n
            \n
          1. Click on an <\/span>announcement to open it<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Click on the 3 dots<\/strong> on the top right corner of the screen and select <\/span>Edit<\/strong>.

          3. Make the required changes in the <\/span>Edit announcement<\/strong> window and click on update<\/strong>.<\/span>

            Delete announcement<\/strong><\/h3>\n

            1. Click on an <\/span>announcement to open it.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
            2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right corner of the screen and select <\/span>Delete<\/strong>.<\/strong>
              \n\"Delete

            3. Click Yes<\/strong> on the confirmation pop-up and the announcement will be deleted.

              Note<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

              A deleted announcement can be restored from the Trash<\/strong> section within 14 days of deletion.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t

              A user with 'View only'<\/strong> access to announcements can only view announcements subscribed to them. A user with 'View and add'<\/strong> access can view announcements subscribed to them and add new announcements.
